Delhi faces return of 45°C heatwave after brief dust storm

Delhi is facing renewed heatwave with temperatures expected to soar to around 45°C by mid-week, following a brief respite provided by a dust storm on May 23. The storm led to temporary drop in temperatures but did little to alleviate the forthcoming extreme heat. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Delhi and surrounding states.
