Delhi fire dept received 220 calls in 1 day, highest after Diwali

The Delhi Fire Services received 220 calls within a span of 24-hour on Wednesday due to extreme heat, Delhi Fire Department Director Atul Garg said. "This is the highest number of calls so far, except on the day of Diwali," Garg added. According to reports, most of these calls were made from the areas Narela, Bawana, and Burari.
