Delhi forms teams ahead of Eid to oversee sale, sacrifice of animals

Delhi government has formed rapid response teams across all 13 districts ahead of Eid-al-Adha to ensure compliance with animal welfare rules. "No illegal sacrifice of any kind will be permitted during Bakrid. Sale and purchase of animals at public places is completely prohibited," Minister Kapil Mishra said. He added that teams are inspecting transport, sale, and sacrifice of animals.
