Delhi government cuts school exam budget to ₹90 per student

The Delhi government has cut down the budget for conducting exams at government schools from ₹125 to ₹90 per student from Class 1 to Class 11 for 2022-23, the Directorate of Education (DoE) said in a circular. The DoE cited "shortage of budget" as reason behind the price deduction. "Demand of additional budget will not be entertained," the circular added.
