Delhi government to set up 5,000 water ATMs across city

The Delhi government has planned to setup 5,000 water dispensing units or water ATMs, across the city to ensure availability of clean drinking water at low prices, officials said. The water ATMs will mainly be set up in localities that lack pipelines and depend on tankers for water supply. They will be based on the private-public partnership model, officials added.
