Delhi govt bans owner of Budweiser and Hoegaarden beer for 3 years

Delhi government has banned world's largest brewer AB InBev, which sells beer brands such as Budweiser and Hoegaarden, for three years for allegedly evading local taxes. An investigation found that SABMiller, which AB InBev acquired in 2016, used duplicate barcodes on beer bottles supplied to retailers that year. Denying the allegations, AB InBev said it would appeal against the order.
