Delhi govt disbursed ₹71.93 cr to 5.25 lakh students for buying uniform, bag: CM Rekha

Delhi CM Rekha Gupta said 5,25,000 students enrolled in schools run by Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) received ₹1,370 each to help them buy essential school supplies such as uniforms and bags. The initiative was aimed at easing the financial burden on parents and total amount disbursed was ₹71.93 crore. The amount was disbursed through direct benefit transfer (DBT).
