Delhi govt proposes ban on petrol two-wheelers after 2028

The Delhi government is preparing to roll out its new Electric Vehicle (EV) Policy 2026-30 by July, replacing the current policy that expires on June 30. The draft proposes phasing out new petrol two-wheeler registrations by 2028 and new CNG three-wheelers by 2027, while offering incentives for EV adoption and possible benefits for hybrid vehicles.
