Delhi govt welcomes CAQM's stay on fuel ban for overage vehicles

The Delhi government welcomed the Centre for Air Quality Management's (CAQM) decision to defer the implementation of the fuel ban for overage vehicles from July 1 to November 1. CM Rekha Gupta called the decision "commendable", with Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa terming it a "major relief" for Delhiites. The government had requested the CAQM to withhold the ban.
