Delhi-Haridwar highway to remain shut for all vehicles during Kanwar Yatra from Aug 4-12

The movement of heavy vehicles on Delhi-Haridwar National Highway and Ganga Canal road will be restricted from July 30 due to Kanwar Yatra, while all vehicles will be banned from August 4 to August 12. District Magistrate Umesh Mishra said police divers will be deployed at all major bathing spots along the Ganga Canal road to ensure safety of pilgrims.
