Delhi has reported its first JN.1 COVID-19 variant case: Minister

Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj has told ANI that the national capital has recorded its first JN.1 COVID-19 variant case. One of three samples sent for genome sequencing was JN.1, while the other two were Omicron, he said. This comes as over 100 JN.1 cases have been reported across the country till December 26, ANI reported citing Health Ministry sources.
