Parents must support daughters reporting marital abuse: Delhi HC

The Delhi High Court stressed that parents must support daughters facing marital violence, saying their return home should never be seen as shameful. Justice Madhu Jain said a woman's safety outweighs preserving a marriage. The remarks came while discharging Mayank Singhvi and his parents of cruelty charges in flight attendant Anissia Batra's 2018 death.
