Delhi HC asks DMRC to vacate Yamuna floodplains by March 2026

The Delhi High Court has asked the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) to vacate the Yamuna floodplain area by March 31, 2026. The court directed DMRC to dismantle machinery, equipment and casting yards from the floodplain and to ensure that it's restored to its original condition without debris. It had directed DMRC on December 11 to shift from the area.
