Delhi HC bans victory processions after DUSU election results

Delhi High Court on Friday prohibited Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) poll candidates and supporters from holding victory processions after the results. The order came as DUSU polling was underway, with results scheduled for Saturday. It also issued notices to 140 student candidates over alleged violations of Lyngdoh Committee recommendations, the model code of conduct and court orders.
