Delhi HC rejects FIR plea in Justice Varma cash case

The Delhi High Court refused to entertain a plea seeking FIR registration and SIT/CBI probe into cash found at former judge Yashwant Varma's residence after a fire in March 2025. Justice Amit Bansal called it a "wild witch hunt". The petitioner withdrew the plea after the court indicated it would be dismissed.
