Delhi HC restrains Dabur from circulating its WhatsApp ad on amla hair oil

Delhi High Court restrained Dabur from circulating a WhatsApp advertisement of its amla hair oil featuring Deepika Padukone. The order was passed following a lawsuit by Marico alleging disparagement of goodwill and reputation of its badam amla hair oil and its registered 'Nihar' trademarks. Marico also challenged a print ad by Dabur but the court refused to injunct the ad.
