Delhi HC restrains manufacture, sale of Dil Afza on lawsuit by Rooh Afza

The Delhi High Court has restrained the manufacture and sale of 'Sharbat Dil Afza' during the pendency of a lawsuit for alleged trademark infringement by 'Rooh Afza' seller Hamdard Dawakhana. The court observed that there was a similarity in the visual appearance of the two products. It noted that both the products have the same deep red colour and texture.
