Delhi launches Road RADAR to curb dust and road pollution
Delhi government launched Road RADAR, a road pollution monitoring programme to identify dust and pollution hotspots across the city's 18,000-km road network to curb pollution. Under the initiative, 13 GPS-equipped surveyors will inspect at least 20 km of roads daily and flag issues such as unpaved stretches and garbage dumps. The identified hotspots will be reported for corrective action.
