Delhi makes Pink Saheli cards mandatory for free bus travel for women

The Delhi government has made Pink Saheli Smart Cards mandatory for free bus travel for women on Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) and cluster buses. "Women who don't have...card can travel by purchasing ticket at the applicable fare," an official said. The government had earlier announced that smart cards would be issued after Aadhaar-based verification to women with a Delhi address.
