Delhi Metro allows women to carry knives for self-protection

The Delhi Metro has allowed women to carry small knives for their protection, a CISF official said. The Metro is allowing all passengers to carry lighters and matchboxes, as well as tools, after receiving requests from labourers. The CISF official said, "We carried a review and found that with these items, passengers’ safety is not in danger."
