Delhi Metro in financial crisis, seeks ₹3,500 cr each from Centre & Delhi govt

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) told High Court that the company is reeling under financial crisis. It also sought ₹3,500 crore each from central and Delhi governments to pay a 2017 arbitral award to a Reliance subsidiary. DMRC added that it owes around ₹7,010.08 crore to Delhi Airport Metro Express Pvt. Ltd, out of which ₹2,599 crore has been paid.
