Delhi metro recorded 235.8 crore passenger journeys in 2025

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said 235.8 crore passenger journeys were recorded in 2025 against 223.5 crore in 2024. Delhi Metro recorded most passengers in one day on August 8, 2025, with 81.87 lakh passengers, breaking the previous record of 78.67 lakh passengers set on November 18, 2024. Delhi Metro accounts for 55% of India's daily 1.15 crore passenger journeys.
