Delhi Metro to expand network by 97 km, linking emerging areas to central Delhi

Delhi government has announced an expansion of the city’s metro network, adding 97 km of new lines and 65 stations across seven corridors. It aims to improve connectivity between outskirts and emerging areas of the Capital with central Delhi. The new corridors Dhansa Bus Stand-Nangloi, Central Secretariat-Kishangarh, Samaypur Badli-Narela, Kirti Nagar-Palam, and Jor Bagh-Mithapur, among others.
