Delhi–Mumbai expressway, Zojila tunnel to open in 2026

Several landmark highway projects are set for completion in 2026, led by the 1,362-km Delhi–Mumbai Expressway. Other key corridors include Bengaluru–Chennai and Delhi–Dehradun expressways. The 13-km Zojila tunnel, Asia’s longest, will also open next year, cutting travel time between Srinagar and Leh from hours to just 20 minutes.
