A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) was filed seeking a stay on Delhi government's odd-even car policy terming it "arbitrary, illegal, irrational and illogical" and added that it is a "reaction plan" and not an "action plan". The petition filed by two lawyers said that the decision was taken without conducting a study and its "disturbing effect on public at large".
