Delhi plans 2.5 lakh e-rickshaw cap to ease traffic

Delhi has proposed capping e-rickshaws at 250,000 to reduce traffic, improve safety, and curb pollution. Under the draft policy, all e-rickshaws must be registered with a two-year digital compliance certificate. Individuals can own up to five, companies up to 100. Operators running 25+ vehicles need an aggregator license. Public has 30 days to respond.
