Delhi Police deny permission to Munawar Faruqui's show after VHP's warning

Delhi Police have denied permission to stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui's show in the national capital after Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) threatened to protest if the August 28 show wasn't cancelled. According to reports, the central district police wrote a report to the Licensing Unit of Delhi Police stating that the show will "affect communal harmony in the area".
