Delhi Police directs personnel to use public transport after PM's 'save fuel' appeal

Delhi Police have directed all its units to take immediate steps to curtail vehicular movement in line with PM Narendra Modi’s appeal for a reduction in fuel consumption. The order contains 13 measures, including route planning and duty coordination, pooling of dak motorcycles and other two-wheelers, use of metro and public transport, and rationalisation of VIP/VVIP carcade size.
