Delhi police reveals why personnel were in plain clothes during CJP parliament march

Defending deployment of its personnel in plain clothes during CJP's protest march, Delhi Police told SC that they were strategically merged with crowd due to urgency of situation. They were deployed as part of crowd-control operations and not as independent force against protesters, it added. Police said such deployment is legal and common at large gatherings, including I-Day/Republic Day events.
