Delhi Police to get separate drone unit in 2-3 years: Commissioner

Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana on Thursday said Delhi Police is equipping itself with drone technology and will have "a separate unit, especially for drones" in the coming 2-3 years. "Drone technology will be used to handle law and order, for situational awareness, for traffic management and to secure vulnerable installations," Asthana said.
