Delhi proposes 100% road tax waiver for EVs up to ₹30 lakh

The Delhi government has released its draft EV Policy 2026-2030, proposing a full exemption on road tax and registration fees for electric vehicles. However, this benefit will apply only to cars priced up to ₹30 lakh, with higher-value vehicles excluded from such exemptions. The draft also proposes a 50% exemption for strong hybrid vehicles and a separate EV fund.
