Delhi rain, thunderstorms bring relief from heatwave

After days of intense heatwave conditions, Delhi witnessed rain, thunderstorms and strong winds on Thursday evening, bringing major relief to residents. Temperatures dropped sharply across several areas, with IMD issuing an orange alert for more rain on Friday. Wind speeds touched up to 80 kmph in some regions, while weather experts predict the pre-monsoon spell may continue till May 31.
