Delhi raises income limit for EWS ration eligibility to ₹2.5 lakh

The income limit for EWS ration eligibility in Delhi has increased from ₹1.2 lakh to ₹2.5 lakh, Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa said on Tuesday. "Residents...with an annual income of up to ₹2.5 lakh will become eligible for new ration cards," he added. Ration benefits will be credited directly into beneficiaries' accounts through Central Bank Digital Currency, he further said.
