Delhi records coolest June day so far as rain brings relief from heat

Delhi recorded coolest June day so far on June 12 as rain, thunderstorms brought down temperatures in the national capital. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast more thunderstorms, rain and gusty winds for today. The maximum temperature at Safdarjung, the city's base station, settled at 34.6°C, 5.3°C below normal and 4.1°C lower than the previous day.
