Delhi records hottest July day in 2 years on July 16

Delhi recorded its hottest July day in nearly two years on Thursday, with the maximum temperature touching 39.2°C, four notches above normal, according to IMD. The minimum temperature settled at 30.2°C. Delhi had previously recorded a higher maximum temperature of 39.3°C on July 30, 2024, while the minimum was the highest since July 2, 2024, when it stood at 30.7°C.
