Delhi road to be renamed after Bodo leader Upendranath Brahma

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) will rename a stretch of Lala Lajpat Rai Marg in South Delhi as Bodofa Upendranath Brahma Marg on May 1. A statue of Bodofa will also be unveiled by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Bodofa is known as the father of the Bodo people and a champion of their rights.
