Delhi's Themis Barbecue House charges man over 40% more than Swiggy price; both asked to pay ₹1 lakh

A Delhi consumer court has ordered Swiggy and Delhi restaurant Themis Barbecue House to jointly pay ₹1 lakh to a customer over misleading buffet pricing on Swiggy Dineout. The platform showed a “cost for two” of ₹1,500, while the restaurant charged ₹1,050 per person for vegetarian and ₹1,100 for non-vegetarian buffet. The commission said the actual price was 40-47% higher.
