Delhi solar scheme stalled as vendors not yet finalised

Despite receiving over 1.14 lakh applications since September 21, the Delhi government has not finalised vendors for rooftop solar panel installations under its subsidy scheme. No home surveys have begun as vendor tendering remains pending. Officials say installations are unlikely before Diwali. The scheme offers ₹1.56 lakh combined subsidy for systems up to 3kW.
