Delhi State Cancer Institute starts brachytherapy services

Delhi State Cancer Institute (DSCI) has launched brachytherapy services after successfully performing its first procedure on July 9. The advanced radiation treatment delivers high-dose radiation directly to tumours while sparing healthy tissue. The facility will improve treatment for cervical, endometrial, and selected cancers, offering patients specialised cancer care under one roof.
