Delhi sweet makers inspected ahead of festive season, lapses found

Delhi’s Food Safety Department inspected sweet makers and related establishments across the national capital ahead of festive season. The inspections revealed several lapses in hygiene, cleanliness, food storage and prescribed food-handling practices at multiple units. The inspection teams also collected food samples from various establishments as part of enforcement and surveillance activities.
