Delhi to get recycling centres for damaged idols, announces CM Rekha Gupta

Delhi CM Rekha Gupta announced that government would set up dedicated collection centres across national capital to recycle damaged idols and turn them into utility items. "Idols we worship for years are often left under peepal trees, thrown into rivers, or abandoned on roadsides once they get damaged," she said. CM Gupta also invited suggestions to improve the initiative further.
