Delhi to inspect 923 coaching centres for safety after Lucknow fire

The CM Rekha Gupta-led Delhi government on Wednesday ordered a citywide safety crackdown on coaching centres to check compliance with fire safety and building norms. Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood said 923 coaching centres across the national capital will be inspected. The move comes two days after a fire at a coaching centre building in Lucknow's Aliganj killed 15 people.
