Delhi to Kolkata airfares skyrocket to ₹30,000 ahead of WB polls

Airfares for non-stop flights from Delhi to Kolkata have surged to about ₹30,000 amid rising demand ahead of the West Bengal Assembly elections on April 23. Fares for polling day are up to ₹25,000, compared to the usual ₹5,000-₹7,000, Times Now reported. Prices are also climbing ahead of the second phase on April 29.
