Delhi tops NITI Aayog's EV adoption index; Maha, K'taka follow

Delhi topped NITI Aayog's India Electric Mobility Index 2025 for the adoption of electric vehicles and e-mobility ecosystem, with 84 points. It was followed by Maharashtra and Karnataka with 78 and 73 points, respectively, and the only two of 17 large states to feature among top performers on the index. Chandigarh and Goa were also ranked as top performers.
