Delhi traders urge LG Sandhu to designate protest sites on outskirts, cite losses

The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) wrote to Delhi LG Taranjit Singh Sandhu, demanding that protest sites be relocated to the city's outskirts. The body cited traders' massive losses due to frequent protests, demonstrations, political gatherings and marches in the capital. The Chamber of Trade and Industry (CTI) estimated ₹10,000-11,000 crore in losses after I.N.D.I.A bloc's rally.
