Delhi Traffic Police uses AC helmets, hand fans on duty amid heatwave

Amid the heatwave in Delhi-NCR region, Delhi Traffic Police has provided specialised “AC helmets”, portable handheld and table fans to personnel deployed at high-congestion roundabouts. The helmets are designed to reduce the temperature around a user’s head by 8-12°C compared to the outdoor environment. Chilled water bottles and ORS have also been distributed to the traffic police personnel.
