Delhi University hikes fees by 17% for 2026-27 session

Delhi University (DU) has increased its share of student fees by over 17% for the upcoming 2026-27 academic session. This is the second such hike within six months, raising the university's portion of the combined fee from ₹3,500 to ₹4,100. The 17% hike exceeds the university’s stated policy of limiting annual fee increases to around 10%.
