Delhi was colder than Shimla, Mussoorie on January 12

Delhi recorded a lower minimum temperature on Monday, January 12, than hill stations like Mussoorie and Shimla. According to data from the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi's Safdarjung recorded 3.2℃, while Mussoorie recorded 7.7°C and Shimla 8.8°C. In general, the plains of northwest India were significantly colder than the surrounding hills.
