Delhi withdraws Class 9 3rd language rule linked to Class 10 boards eligibility

The Delhi government has rolled back a provision that had raised concerns among Class 9 students by linking performance in third language, or R3, with eligibility for Class 10 board examinations. Under the withdrawn rule, students who didn't qualify in R3 could've faced restriction on appearing for their Class 10 boards, even if they were otherwise promoted to next class.
