'Delhi-Mumbai air fares crossing ₹15,000 everyday,' says Venugopal; Scindia responds

Congress leader KC Venugopal has claimed that air fares for Delhi-Mumbai sector are crossing ₹15,000 everyday. "PM Modi famously said those wearing 'Hawai Chappals' can travel on 'Hawai Jahaaz'...his words sound like a cruel joke," he tweeted. Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia responded, "We have advised airlines to self-regulate...fares...prices have come down by 14-60% since 6th June."
